Wer seine Chipkarte noch nicht verlängern konnte, aber trotzdem auf die Bahn- und Busvergünstigungen vom Semesterticket angewiesen ist, kann bis Ende Mai 2020 ersatzweise eine ausgedruckte Immatrikulationsbescheinigung zusammen mit seinem Pass oder Personalausweis nutzen.
If you have not yet been able to renew your chip card, but still rely on the train and bus discounts on your semester ticket, you can use a printed certificate of enrolment together with your passport or identity card as a substitute until the end of May 2020.
