Nothilfefonds des BMBF / Emergency fund of the BMBF
In der letzten Woche erreichte uns die gute Nachricht, dass das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) den Studentenwerken Unterstützung für Studierende bereitstellt, die durch die Coronakrise in finanzielle Notlagen geraten sind. Auch in Göttingen rechnen wir mit Geldern für den Nothilfefonds des Studentenwerks.
Der Nothilfefonds des Studentenwerks Göttingen konnte bereits in den letzten Wochen vielen Studierenden helfen, die durch die Auswirkungen des Coronavirus ihren Nebenjob verloren haben und dadurch in eine finanzielle Notsituation geraten sind. Unter anderem beteiligte sich Alumni Göttingen e.V. mit einem Spendeaufruf und konnte bisher mehr als 50.000 EUR beisteuern.
Aktuell sind wieder Anträge an den Nothilfefonds möglich! Wenn Sie im Sommersemester 2020 an einer Göttinger Hochschule immatrikuliert sind und sich aktuell in einer finanziellen Notsituation befinden, können Sie sich per E-Mail an den Sozialdienst des Studentenwerks wenden (sozialdienst@studentenwerk-goettingen.de).
Last week, we received the good news that the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) will provide support to the Studentenwerke for students who are in financial distress due to the effects of the coronavirus crisis. In Göttingen, too, we are expecting money from the emergency fund for the Studentenwerk.
The emergency fund of the Studentenwerk Göttingen has already been able to help many students in recent weeks who have lost their part-time jobs due to the effects of the coronavirus and now find themselves in financial hardship. Amongst other initiatives, Alumni Göttingen e.V. took part in an appeal for donations and has so far been able to contribute more than €50,000.
Applications to the emergency relief fund are now possible again! If you are enrolled in higher education in Göttingen in the summer semester 2020 and are currently in financial hardship, you can contact the Social Service (Sozialdienst) of the Studentenwerk by email (sozialdienst@studentenwerk-goettingen.de).
