Präsidentschaftsverfahren 2021 – Sitzung am 27. Januar 2021 / President Appointment Process 2021 – Session on 27 January 2021
Am Mittwoch, 27. Januar 2021, ist ab 14.15 Uhr eine gemeinsame Sitzung von Senat und Stiftungsausschuss Universität geplant, in der die Empfehlung für das Präsident*innenamt erörtert wird.
Zwei Teile der gemeinsamen Sitzung sind hochschulöffentlich. Zu Beginn der Sitzung finden eine persönliche Vorstellung des von der Findungskommission empfohlenen Kandidaten einschließlich der Vorstellung seiner wichtigsten Ziele für die anstehende Amtszeit und eine Aussprache mit ihm statt.
Gegen Ende der Sitzung werden in einem weiteren hochschulöffentlichen Teil die Entscheidungen von Senat und Stiftungsausschuss Universität in Sachen Präsidentschaft 2021 mitgeteilt.
Zuschauer*innen können die hochschulöffentlichen Teile der gemeinsamen Sitzung von Senat und Stiftungsausschuss Universität per Zoom oder in Präsenz verfolgen, haben nach den geltenden Ordnungen aber kein Frage- oder Rederecht. Für die Teilnahme per Zoom oder in Präsenz ist eine vorherige Anmeldung mit Anmeldebestätigung erforderlich. Angesichts der Sars-CoV-2-Pandemie bitten wir, eher von der digitalen Variante Gebrauch zu machen, da für eine Teilnahme in Präsenz nur 44 Plätze zur Verfügung stehen.

A joint session of the Senate and University Foundation Committee is scheduled for Wednesday 27 January 2021 beginning at 14:15, to discuss the recommendation for the office of President.
Two parts of the joint meeting will be open to the staff and students of the University. At the beginning of the meeting, there will be a personal presentation by the candidate recommended by the search committee, including a presentation of his major goals for the forthcoming term, and a discussion with him.
Towards the end of the session, there will be another part of the meeting, which will be open to the staff and students of the University. The decisions of the Senate and the University Foundation Committee regarding the 2021 presidency will be communicated at this point.
Spectators can follow the open sessions of the joint meeting of the Senate and the University Foundation Committee via zoom or in person, but have no right to ask questions or speak as per the regulations for this process. Prior registration with confirmation of registration is required to attend via Zoom or in person. In light of the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic, we ask that you use the online option, as only 44 seats are available for attendance in person.
