Änderung Status bei Genesenen und mit Johnson&Johnson Geimpften / Change to “fully vaccinated” status: Johnson&Johnson and recovered
Durch die Verbreitung der Omikron-Variante des Coronavirus und der höheren Ansteckungsgefahr sind die Kriterien zur Erlangung des Impfstatus für mit Johnson&Johnson (Covid-19-Impfstoff Janssen) geimpfte Personen angepasst worden. Danach gelten nur einmal mit Johnson&Johnson geimpfte Personen nicht mehr als vollständig geimpft. Eine weitere Impfung im Abstand von mindestens vier Wochen ist notwendig. Vierzehn Tage nach dieser zweiten Impfung ist der Status „geimpft“ wieder hergestellt. Für die „Boosterung“ ist dann auch hier eine dritte Impfung im Abstand von mindestens drei Monaten zur zweiten Impfung notwendig.
Weiterhin wurde auch der Status „Genesen“ aufgrund der Omikron-Variante angepasst. Als genesen gelten jetzt Personen, deren positiver PCR-Test mindestens 28 Tage, aber maximal 90 Tage zurückliegt. Damit ist der Status „Genesen“ von sechs Monaten auf 90 Tage reduziert worden. Genesene Personen können und sollten sich jetzt bereits drei Monate nach der Diagnosestellung impfen lassen. Damit verlängert sich der Genesenenstatus. Auch in dieser Situation empfiehlt die STIKO inzwischen, sich weitere drei Monate später dann mit einer weiteren nochmaligen Impfung boostern zu lassen.
Wenn Sie sich gerade zum ersten Mal mit dem Coronavirus infiziert haben und noch nicht geimpft wurden, gilt Ihr Status als „genesen“ bis zur zweiten Impfung (zu diesem Zeitpunkt sind Sie vollständig geimpft).
Beide Änderungen betreffen sowohl die 3G-Zugangsregel am Arbeitsplatz als auch die 3G-Regel für Lehrveranstaltungen und Prüfungen sowie die 2G/3G-Regel bei Veranstaltungen.

Due to the spread of the Omikron variant of the coronavirus and the higher risk of infection, the criteria for obtaining the status of “fully vaccinated” for those who had the Johnson&Johnson vaccine (Covid-19 vaccine by Janssen) has changed. It is now the case that those vaccinated with the Johnson&Johnson “one-shot” vaccine by Janssen are no longer considered to be fully vaccinated. An additional vaccination after four weeks or more is necessary. Fourteen days after the second vaccination, the status of fully vaccinated is restored. A third vaccination three months after the second is required as a booster.
Furthermore, the status „recovered“ has also been adjusted due to the Omikron variant. People whose positive PCR test was at least 28 days,but no more than 90 days ago are now considered to have the status of “recovered”. The change is that the status of „recovered“ has been reduced from six months to 90 days. Those who have recovered can now be vaccinated as early as three months after their diagnosis or positive test result. In this situation, too, STIKO (Germany’s standing committee on vaccinations) now recommends getting a booster with another vaccination three months later.
If you have just been infected with coronavirus for the first time and have not yet received a vaccination, your status as “recovered” in Germany will last until you have your second vaccination (at which point you will be fully vaccinated), so in this situation, your status as “recovered” would be extended.
Both changes affect the 3G access rule at the workplace as well as the 3G rule for teaching events and the 2G/3G rule at events.
