Da es in letzter Zeit immer wieder Berichte zum Thema FFP2-Masken in den Medien gegeben hat, hier nochmals einige Hinweise zur Benutzung von FFP2/KN95/N95-Masken. Grundsätzlich besteht das Schutzkonzept an der Universität Göttingen weiterhin aus dem Einhalten des Mindestabstands und regelmäßigem Lüften der Räume. Es ist daher ausreichend, eine Einmal-OP-Maske (Zulassung als Medizinprodukt, CE-Zeichen) zu tragen. Eine persönliche Schutzausrüstung in Form einer FFP2-Maske oder ähnlichem ist nicht erforderlich. Sollte in den Einrichtungen das Tragen einer FFP2-Masken erforderlich sein, sollte die Einrichtung sich im Vorfeld von der Stabsstelle Sicherheitswesen und Umweltschutz beraten lassen.

Since there has been a lot of reporting in the media about FFP2 masks, here is some more information about the use of FFP2/KN95/N95 masks once again. Basically, the plan to keep everyone safe at the University continues to consist of maintaining the minimum distance and making sure the rooms are regularly ventilated. It is therefore sufficient to wear a disposable surgical mask (these should be approved as a medical device with the appropriate CE mark). Personal protective equipment in the form of an FFP2 mask or similar is not required. Should it be necessary to wear an FFP2 mask in institutions, the institution should seek advice in advance from the Safety/Environmental Section.
