DFG-Fachkollegienwahl: Vorschläge für Kandidat*innen / DFG Review Board Election: Proposals for candidates
Im Herbst 2023 findet die Wahl der Mitglieder der Fachkollegien der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) für die Amtszeit 2024 bis 2028 statt. Um die Verteilung von Fördergeldern durch die DFG aktiv mitzubestimmen ist es wichtig, prominent in den Fachkollegien vertreten zu sein. Wir möchten Sie deshalb bitten, dem Präsidium für die Universität Göttingen Wissenschaftler*innen für eine Kandidatur in konkreten Fächern der DFG-Fachkollegien vorzuschlagen.Aus den eingegangen Vorschlägen wird das Präsidium nach den Vorgaben der DFG eine Wahlvorschlagsliste erstellen, die bis spätestens 31. Oktober 2022 bei der DFG sein muss (Ausschlussfrist). Auf Basis der Vorschläge verabschiedet der Senat der DFG im Sommer 2023 die Liste der Kandidat*innen für 214 Fächer in 49 Fachkollegien. Bitte schicken Sie Ihre Vorschläge bis spätestens Freitag, 7. Oktober 2022, an Dr. Jens-Peter Krüger, Abteilung Forschung und Transfer, der das Verfahren koordiniert (E-Mail: jens-peter.krueger@zvw.uni-goettingen.de; Tel. 39-28249). Er kümmert sich um die Einverständniserklärung der vorgeschlagenen Personen, die für eine Nominierung in schriftlicher Form vorliegen muss, und steht Ihnen für weitere Fragen gern zur Verfügung.

In the fall of 2023, the election of the members of the review boards of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) for the term 2024 to 2028 will take place. In order to actively participate in the distribution of funding by the DFG, it is important to be prominently represented in the review boards. We would therefore like to ask you to propose scientists to the Presidential Board for the University of Göttingen for candidacy in specific subjects of the DFG Review Boards.
From the proposals received, the Presidential Board will compile a list of nominations in accordance with the DFG’s guidelines, which must be received by the DFG by 31 October 2022 at the latest (cut-off deadline). Based on the proposals, the DFG Senate will adopt the list of candidates for 214 subjects in 49 review boards in summer 2023. He will take care of the declaration of consent of the proposed persons, which must be submitted in written form for a nomination, and will be happy to answer any further questions.
