Ab 29. August: Öffentliche Veranstaltungen der Enlight-Sommerschule / Enlight Summerschool offers public talks

s- und Erinnerungskonstruktion: Vom 29. August bis 2. September 2022 findet an der Universität Göttingen die interdisziplinäre Sommerschule „Identity and contested memory construction in migrant/diasporic communities in the Mediterranean“ des europäischen Universitätsnetzwerks Enlight statt. Insbesondere geht es dabei um die Rolle des Mittelmeerraums als Begegnungsort von und mit Menschen, die mit Diaspora- und/oder Migrationshintergrund dort (neu) beheimatet sind. Teil der Sommerschule sind vier öffentliche Vorträge und eine Podiumsdiskussion in englischer Sprache.

Identity and memory constructions: from 29 August to 2 September 2022 the interdisciplinary Enlight Summerschool “Identity and contested memory construction in migrant/diasporic communities in the Mediterranean” will be held at our University. A special focus will be on migrant and diasporic communities in the complex region of the Mediterranean. In addition, the summer school will offer four public lectures and one round table discussion.
