Postdoc Appreciation Week 2021 is a valuable reminder about the significant contribution postdocs make to research and discovery. Are you a Göttingen postdoc who would like to improve the experience of postdocs across the Campus? Then the Göttingen Campus Postdoc Committee – run by postdocs for postdocs – is the place for you. Over the summer, several postdocs from the GC Postdoc Committee took up new posts around the world – from Poland to Pakistan, Berlin and Israel. This means that the Committee that drives the GC Postdoc Network is now recruiting.
This friendly committee meets once a month for about an hour. Apart from turning up to meetings, tasks include generating ideas and text for the GC Postdoc Newsletter, helping to organise events, and highlighting the most important themes for postdocs so that the committee can focus its attention there. The workload can be tailored to your personal interests and skills.

Die Postdoc Appreciation Week 2021 ist eine wertvolle Erinnerung an den bedeutenden Beitrag, den Postdocs zur Forschung und Entdeckung leisten. Seid Ihr ein Göttinger Postdoc und möchtet die Erfahrungen von Postdocs am gesamten Göttingen Campus verbessern? Dann ist das Göttingen Campus Postdoc Committee – von Postdocs für Postdocs – der richtige Ort für euch.
Im Laufe des Sommers haben mehrere Postdocs aus dem GC Postdoc Committee neue Stellen in der ganzen Welt angetreten – in Polen, Pakistan, Berlin und Israel. Das bedeutet, dass das Komitee, welches das GC-Postdoc-Netzwerk antreibt, jetzt neue Mitglieder sucht.
Dieses freundliche Komitee trifft sich einmal im Monat für etwa eine Stunde. Zu den Aufgaben gehören neben der Teilnahme an den Sitzungen auch das Entwickeln von Ideen und Texten für den GC Postdoc Newsletter, die Mithilfe bei der Organisation von Veranstaltungen und das Herausstellen der wichtigsten Themen für Postdocs. Das Arbeitspensum kann auf Eure persönlichen Interessen und Fähigkeiten abgestimmt werden.
