European Citizens‘ Initiative – Ausschreibung / Call for applications
Die Universitäten Göttingen, Coimbra (Portugal), Vigo (Spanien) und Iasi (Rumänien) haben sich zusammengeschlossen, um bürgerschaftliches Engagement durch das interaktive Projekt „European Citizens‘ Initiative: A tool for engagement and active citizenship“ zu fördern. Es richtet sich an Bachelor- und Masterstudierende aller Fächer und zielt darauf ab, Engagement und freiwillige Beteiligung zu stärken und das Verfahren einer Europäischen Bürgerinitiative vor der Europäischen Kommission zu modellieren (ähnlich einem European Law Moot Court). The University of Göttingen has joined the universities of Coimbra (Portugal), Vigo (Spain), and Iasi (Romania) to promote civic engagement and voluntary participation through the interactive project „European Citizens‘ Initiative: A tool for engagement and active citizenship.” Bachelor and Masters students from all subjects are welcome to participate in the project. The project with the short title „ECI from A to Z“ aims to promote civic engagement and voluntary participation and to model a European Citizens‘ Initiative’s procedure before the European Commission (similar to a European Law Moot Court). The project is co-funded by the Erasmus Program. Deadline is 15 April 2021. The call for applications and further information are available here.
