Mit einer Festveranstaltung in der Aula am Wilhelmsplatz verabschiedet die Universität Göttingen ihren Präsidenten Prof. Dr. Reinhard Jahn. Die Feier findet am Dienstag, 22. Dezember 2020 ab 15 Uhr statt. Aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie findet die Veranstaltung ohne Gäste statt und wird ab 15 Uhr live aus der Aula übertragen.
Das Programm beinhaltet Ansprachen, Grußworte und Worte zum Abschied von Prof. Jahn anlässlich seines Ausscheidens aus dem Amt des Präsidenten.

The University of Göttingen will bid farewell to its president, Professor Reinhard Jahn, with an event in the Aula at Wilhelmsplatz. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday 22 December 2020, starting at 15:00, due to the pandemic without guests. It will be broadcast live from the Aula from 15:00.
The programme will include speeches, greetings and words of farewell for and by Professor Jahn on the occasion of the end of his term of office as President.
