20. Juli 2020: Gedenkfeier zum Jahrestag des Umsturzversuchs gegen das NS-Regime / Commemoration of the anniversary of the attempted overthrow of the Nazi regime
Am Montag, 20. Juli 2020, findet in Imshausen (Hessen) eine Gedenkfeier für den Göttinger Alumnus Adam von Trott zu Solz und den Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime statt. Hauptrednerin der Feierlichkeit ist Bundesverfassungsrichterin Prof. Dr. Christine Langenfeld. Die Gedenkfeier beginnt um 17 Uhr am Gedenkkreuz für Adam von Trott auf dem Tannenberg oberhalb des Dorfes Imshausen. Eine Teilnahme ist nur unter Voranmeldung mit vollständigem Namen, Anschrift, Telefonnummer und E-Mailadresse bis spätestens 16. Juli möglich. Anmeldungen bitte an lars.jakob@zvw.uni-goettingen.de.
Für alle Interessierten, die nicht vor Ort dabei sein können, veröffentlichen wir am Folgetag ein Video der Veranstaltung auf dem YouTube-Kanal der Universität Göttingen.
Ausgerichtet wird die Veranstaltung von der Stiftung Adam von Trott, Imshausen e.V. in Kooperation mit der Universität Göttingen. In Erinnerung an Adam von Trott initiieren und organisieren die Kooperationspartner seit 2017 unter anderem Seminare, Workshops, Tagungen, Bildungsangebote für Schüler*innen sowie öffentliche Veranstaltungen. On Monday, 20 July 2020, a memorial service for the Göttingen alumnus Adam von Trott zu Solz and the resistance against the Nazi regime will take place in Imshausen (Hesse). The main speaker at the ceremony will be Professor Christine Langenfeld, Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court. The memorial service will begin at 17:00 at the memorial cross for Adam von Trott on the Tannenberg above the village of Imshausen. Participation is only possible if you have registered with full name, address, telephone number and email address by 16 July at the latest. The event is organized by the Adam von Trott Foundation, Imshausen in cooperation with the University of Göttingen. In memory of Adam von Trott, the cooperation partners have been initiating and organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, educational opportunities for schoolchildren and public events since 2017.
