Auch in der kommenden Woche laden wir wieder zur virtuellen Ringvorlesung der Universität ein. Dieses Mal geht es um Albert Camus‘ Roman „Die Pest“. Der Klassiker der Weltliteratur feiert aktuell – und vermutlich unter dem Einfluss von Corona – europaweit eine Renaissance. Welche Rolle die Literatur bei der Beschäftigung mit Covid-19 spielen könnte, darüber spricht Prof. Franziska Meier vom Lehrstuhl für französische und italienische Literaturwissenschaft der Philosophischen Fakultät am Dienstag, 19. Mai um 18.15 Uhr.

In the coming week, we are pleased to invite you back to the “Ringvorlesung”, the University’s virtual lecture series. This time the theme is Albert Camus‘ novel „The Plague“. Probably because of the influence of the coronavirus, this classic of world literature is currently celebrating a renaissance throughout Europe. What role literature could play in the study of Covid-19 will be discussed by Professor Franziska Meier, French and Italian Literature Studies at the Faculty of Humanities on Tuesday 19 May at 6:15pm.
